The Saturday night show of the 4-day Cincinnati Music Festival is taking place July 23-25, 2026 at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. This Procter & Gamble sponsored event brings top quality music to the great state of Ohio. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige will be headlining the show with Trey Songz, SWV, Heatwave, Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick performing their best R&B, hip-hop and soul songs to get you to your feet dancing all night long. 

Mary J. Blige

The renowned singer Mary J. Blige is known by her title as the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. When she first started out in 1992 with her debut single release of “You Remind Me” she immediately began making her mark in the world of music. Bringing the best of the world of R&B and hip-hop to her songs Mary J. Blige brings out the biggest of emotions to her fans through her many songs. The famous singer has won many awards and has received many recognition for her music such as 9 Grammy Awards as well as her many platinum records from her work in the R&B scene from the 1990s. Today the iconic singer Mary J. Blige continues to produce and perform many songs that connect to her fans just as much as her past songs do. She remains as one of the greatest and most iconic singers and performers of our time.

Trey Songz

Trey Songz is a multi-talented R&B singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. He’s performed hit songs such as ‘Can’t Help But Wait’, ‘Say Aah’ (feat. LaRon Williams) and ‘Bottoms Up’ (feat. Nicki Minaj). Trey will bring his modern sound of R&B music to the Cincinnati Music Festival stages Saturday night. With his show, Trey will add a twist to all the retro performances of other famous artists performing this weekend at Cincinnati’s Music Festival.

SWV

For R&B lovers, there is no better group of women than Sisters With Voices (SWV). This iconic group consists of three very talented women who have been performing beautiful, distinctive harmonies for many years, as well as writing and performing many iconic songs from the 1990’s including “Weak,” “Right Here,” and “I’m So Into You.” SWV will be a great addition to this already awesome festival as well as for fans of the classic style of R&B.

Heatwave

One of the most successful groups to create disco music was the group Heatwave. The group created a string of hit songs that are still well known today, including “Boogie Nights” and “Always and Forever”.

Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick

One of the more high energy old-school acts to perform will be Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick. Doug E. Fresh is known world-wide as The Human Beat Box. He is the first to use vocal percussion and beatboxing in song. His biggest hits include “The Show,” “La Di Da Di,” and many more.

Slick Rick is a legendary MC known for his off beat style of storytelling. He has performed songs like “Children’s Story,” “Mona Lisa,” and many more throughout his career. Both Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick were inducted into the VH1 Hip Hop Honors and are the most-sampled hip-hop artist in history with over 600 samples. T
